Beginning Longarm Quilting



We will be learning the basics of longarm quilting.  This class is for the beginner who has always wanted to learn to longarm and wants to learn new design ideas.  You will learn how to load your quilt and make adjustments for different threads, battings, and fabrics.  We will learn various designs of hand guided longarming.  Lori is McTavish certified and will teach Mctavishing as well as other methods of longarming.  She has taken classes from Pam Clarke, Sue Patton, Linda Taylor, and Karen McTavish and will share what she has learned.  You will get to try your hand on our longarm machines. 
Among the designs we'll learn include:

Allover meander
Loops and stars
Curly cues
Stippling
Pebbling

And yes, feathers!!!

This class does not include computerized quilting.
