Introduction to Machine Quilting on Your Domestic Machine

This is a beginner introductory class on quilting with your domestic machine. You will learn basic preparation and assembly of your quilt for machine quilting. You will learn how to set up your machine to use your walking foot as well as free motion quilting. Sample quilt sandwiches will be supplied for your use in class for practice.
You must have basic knowledge on how to use your machine before class. You will need to have a walking foot and a free motion foot for your model of machine and your machine must have the ability to drop the feed dogs.

Requirements: | Required for class: Walking foot, free motion foot, small spool of glide thread, air erasable marking pen, Machingers (non-slip quilting gloves), small scissors. Suggested supplies: Sew Slip Mat (silicone) All supplies purchased for class will receive a 15% discount. |

Instructor Bio: | Linda has been quilting for 26 years. She is a member of the Sioux Falls Quilters Guild for many years. She started machine quilting on her domestic machine and now has a Juki sit-down long arm. Linda has experience with numerous quilting techniques and is a very skilled quilter. |
