Perfect Piecing with Tucker Tools - afternoon class
This month we will be working on Block 1. This block uses the Tucker Trimmer, Magic Wand, and Four Patch Square Up
On the first Saturday of each month at 1:15 join us for a classroom lesson on a Studio 180 tool. In class the instructor will demonstrate how to use the tool to make this month's block. Each month will highlight one or more of Deb Tucker's tools and a pattern and instructions will be given to make that month's block. The first month, a $5 fee will be charged. Every month after that will be free as long as you attend the class and have last month's block complete, otherwise you will be charged another $5. We'll be making 12 skill-building blocks and at the end of the year, we'll have a big party for everyone to showcase their finished quilts.
Materials Included: | Handouts, pattern |
Requirements: | Fabric requirements depend largely on how many blocks you choose to put in your quilt. You will be given approximately 17 block patterns. Only 12 are required but more are provided if you want to make your quilt bigger. You will need approximately 2 yards for borders and 1 1/4 yards for sashing and several assorted fabrics to equal about 4 yards for the blocks. You can certainly choose coordinating fabrics or make it all very scrappy. |
